Every day our trusted referring partners help connect neighbors with The Furniture Project. Many of our partners are nonprofits too, walking alongside individuals and families through housing, health care, education, case management and crisis support.
Community has always been at the heart of our work. For more than a decade, we've helped transform empty spaces into homes, providing individuals and families with the furniture and household essentials they need to settle in, rebuild and move forward.
None of this happens alone.
Behind every furniture delivery is a network of people and organizations working together to support our neighbors. Many of our referring partners are fellow nonprofits serving on the front lines of:
• Housing • Health care • Education • Case management • Crisis support
They are often the first to recognize when someone is facing a major life transition, and they help connect those individuals and families to the resources they need. Today, more than 250 trusted partners refer clients to us throughout the year.
This broad network allows access to our services to remain simple and low barrier, helping people receive support when they need it most.

A referral is more than a form or a phone call. It is an act of care.
When a partner connects a neighbor with us, it means they have been walking alongside that person through a difficult season. Together, we help create homes where people can rest, find stability and begin a new chapter.
