How to Get Furniture
We work directly with local agencies to start the referral process. If you are enrolled in services and working with an agency, your case manager or social worker can submit a referral for you. If you are not working with anyone, our Guide to Receiving Furniture has a short list of possible agencies that can help. If you have other questions or if you need more help finding the right agency for you, let us know and we will work to help you figure it out.

To make a referral, you must become a referring partner. Referring partners include representatives of human service organizations, agencies and systems in our community that refer their clients to us for essential furniture and household items. Any representative of a social service agency or approved religious/charity organization with programs that people can enroll in is eligible to become a referring partner. Case managers and representatives have the best understanding of each client’s needs and can then serve as a guide through the process of receiving services from The Furniture Project.
