Emergency Flood Relief Support
The Furniture Project is collaborating with the City of Omaha and social service agencies to help families who have been impacted by the recent flooding take the next step toward recovery. Together, we are providing families who have been displaced or faced a significant loss of property with essential furniture and household items as they find housing and begin to create a home again.
As recovery efforts continue, we will update this page with current needs and the most helpful ways you can support our neighbors who have been impacted by the flood. Support our flood relief efforts.

We are currently seeking the following essential items that are clean, safe and ready for immediate use:

Mattresses (in very good condition)
Box springs & metal bed frames

Drop Off Furniture
Back up to one of our open docks found under the Pick Up / Drop Off Here signs and our team will unload your donation.
Our warehouse at 10808 J Street is open:
Mon - Fri | 10 am – 3 pm
Sat | 10 am – 1 pm
Fulfill Wishlist
The items on this wishlist have been selected based on the needs of impacted families who are reestablishing new homes after being displaced by the flood.
Purchases from this wishlist will be shipped directly to The Furniture Project and distributed to our neighbors.

Volunteer opportunities will be added as our flood relief efforts continue.

If you have lost furniture or essential household items due to the recent floods, please work with your case manager or referring agency to access our services and other available support.
The following local organizations are providing assistance to individuals and families impacted by the flooding. They may also be able to connect eligible households with a referral to The Furniture Project for essential furniture and household items.
