How Donating Works

Drop-off Items

Bring your items to our warehouse at 10808 J Street during open dock hours.

Monday - Friday | 10 am – 3 pm
Saturday | 10 am – 1 pm

Our staff will be available to assist you with your donation.

If you are in the Omaha metro area and would like to request a furniture donation pickup, please complete our form. We are currently scheduling pickups from households donating one or more essential items (such as beds, small dining tables, or chest of drawers / small dressers). We prioritize pickups based on our most critical needs and items may vary based on inventory.

To help us serve as many families as possible, items must be placed in a garage, curbside, or another easily accessible location on the day of pickup.

Order from our Amazon Wishlist and have it sent directly to our warehouse.

Need it Picked Up Sooner?

These companies are independent of The Furniture Project. Fees are paid directly to the mover. If you hire a mover to deliver items, please list The Furniture Project warehouse as the delivery destination so we can issue your tax receipt.

Our pickup schedule fills quickly. If you need items moved sooner, consider hiring a local mover. This helps our team focus on delivering furniture to families without transportation.
